Phil Bissett refuses to release resume

notbissett called on Phil Bissett to release his resume on Thursday, April 29, 2010, on this Blog. Phil Bissett's silence must be interrupted as a refusal. Why does Bissett refuse to come clean on the experience he touts as the main foundation for his latest campaign for Distict 7's County Council seat?

Employment has been a career-long issue for Bissett. He was forced to step down as Director of Maryland's MARC Train System after a legal opinion from the U.S. Office of Special Counsel that he was violating Federal Law. Bissett's campaign for a second try to be County Executive while serving as an employee of a Federally-funded program violated the Federal Hatch Act.

Bissett has always styled himself as a "self-employed small business owner". What is that business? What does he do for a living? What business is it that allows him to take the time to campaign each election for some public office and to stand along the roads in Anne Arundel County and aimlessly wave signs?

Does Bissett have a job? Does Bissett own and operate a small business? Is Bissett being honest with the voters of Anne Anne Arundel County? Is it possible that the only real experience Bissett has is running for public office?

We deserve better in Anne Arundel County!
